SBGP is seeking candidates to fill three positions:

Senior Project Manager – Public Spaces, Parks

The Senior Project Manager – Public Spaces, Parks supports capital projects within the growing SBGP Enhanced Services Program. The work of SGBP’s Enhanced Services Program improves the quality of life for our community members by enhancing parks and other public spaces in the SBGP District. In addition to capital projects, the Enhanced Services Program’s work includes waste management, sports, and public activation events that improve use of the waterfront; and other projects that enhance public space and implement the Reimagine Middle Branch Plan.

This role is grounded in hands-on experience managing capital construction and capital improvement projects, which the Senior Project Manager – Public Spaces, Parks will apply as the primary focus of the position while also overseeing a broader, diverse portfolio of projects, including maintenance and programming of public spaces across the District under the Reimagine Middle Branch Plan. The Senior Project Manager – Public Spaces, Parks manages all project management activities independently and works with a diverse group of stakeholders and vendors in the community, serving as a liaison with public, private, and nonprofit sector partners.

Senior Project Manager – Grants & Contracts
Senior Project Manager – Public Spaces, Waterfront

The Senior Grants & Contracts Manager and Senior Project Manager – Public Spaces, Waterfront support SGBP’s mission-driven Restoration Program projects in South Baltimore communities. As part of SBGP’s Transformational Projects work, the Restoration Program stewards more than $80 million in investments to restore and reconnect South Baltimore’s Middle Branch shoreline. Through the Middle Branch Resiliency Initiative (MBRI) and related investments, the Restoration Program is restoring acres of lost tidal habitat, improving water quality, strengthening resilience to flooding and erosion, and expanding public access to the waterfront. Working in partnership with South Baltimore communities, the program has already transformed significant stretches of shoreline and continues to pair major physical investments with community engagement, workforce development, programming, and stewardship.

The Senior Grants & Contracts Manager serves as the administrative and compliance backbone of SBGP’s growing Restoration Program, ensuring that grants, contracts, procurement processes, and related agreements are executed and administered effectively so that ambitious, mission-driven restoration projects can move forward successfully. This position has the judgment and experience to independently interpret requirements, establish systems, flag risks, coordinate across internal and external partners, and drive administrative processes to completion with minimal supervision.

This is an amazing opportunity to advance your career and work with fantastic colleagues and community members to showcase the growth of South Baltimore. This is a hybrid position, working primarily at a desk, and you will need to attend some meetings in the office.

Once projects move into construction, SBGP’s Enhanced Services team provides construction management expertise and assumes primary project management responsibility. This position is committed to strengthening the relationship between South Baltimore communities and a healthy, restored waterfront by pairing physical investments in accessible public spaces with programming, stewardship, workforce development, and meaningful opportunities for residents to engage with nature and restoration.
