Read our latest Quarterly Report
We are excited to share our progress and report on our activity during the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2022.
Continuing with another strong quarter, SBGP is proud and grateful for the ability to consistently continue to serve the community. While upholding core values and high standards of practices, SBGP has worked closely with neighborhood leaders, City agencies, and other partners to channel funds into important and necessary community programs and projects within the District.
This quarter SBGP:
- Announced $1.2 million in Enhanced Services support for trash cleanup and sanitation for a large-scale pilot program to dramatically improve the cleanliness of the District. This combined programs from prior years with a major new addition of FY22 funds.
- Completed the third task of the Reimagine Middle Branch design phase and cohosted a second public meeting revealing updated plan renderings and gathering feedback from over 120 participants.
- Awarded a record number of 31 Community Grants across the District totaling $754,618 for the Winter 2022 Cycle.
To date, we have committed over $24.8 million to 381 projects across the District, ranging from small community grants to large capital projects. An additional $7.3 million of projects were in development for a total mobilization of approximately $32.1 million. Reflecting SBGP’s commitment to an equitable model of investing, approximately 68 percent of core program funding to date has been invested in low-income communities and communities of color within the District.
