Read our latest Quarterly Report
We are excited to share our progress and report on our activity during the final quarter of Fiscal Year 2022.
Continuing with another strong quarter, SBGP is proud and grateful for the ability to consistently continue to serve the community. While upholding core values and high standards of practices, SBGP has worked closely with neighborhood leaders, City agencies, and other partners to channel funds into important and necessary community programs and projects within the District.
This quarter SBGP:
- Partnered with Baltimore City Recreation and Parks to provide and install a fully ADA accessible kayak launch in Middle Branch Park.
- Began outreach for the SBGP Board application (deadline: August 15 at 5:00pm).
- Opened the Community Grants Cycle 10 application (deadline: August 26 at 5:00pm).
- Co-hosted a Reimagine Middle Branch public meeting and ice cream social to reveal updated design frameworks and get feedback from the community.
- Approved the financial plan for FY 2023 and continued planning for the future.
To date, we have committed approximately $20.2 million of core funds to 392 projects across the District, ranging from small community grants to large capital projects. An additional $8.5 million of projects were in development for a total mobilization of approximately $28.7 million of core funding. Reflecting SBGP’s commitment to an equitable model of investing, approximately 70 percent of core program funding to date has been invested in low-income communities and communities of color within the District.
