  • Can be easily implemented within 9 months.

Can I apply for a Community Grant for a project to address COVID-19 needs?
Community Grants are not intended to directly support rapidly evolving COVID-19 needs. You can find information and resources for nonprofits impacted by COVID-19 on the Maryland Nonprofits website. (https://www.marylandnonprofits.org/covid-19-resources-for-nonprofits/)

Who is eligible to apply?
Nonprofits, schools, community organizations and other groups working in the South Baltimore Gateway District are eligible to apply. See a full list of eligible groups at https://sbgpartnership.org/community-grants/#eligibility

When are Community Grant applications due?
All applications must be submitted online by Wednesday, March 31st at 5:00PM. Visit https://sbgpartnership.org/community-grants/#apply for more information about how to apply.

How can I get help with my application?
SBGP will host an online Community Grant Information and Writing Session on Thursday, February 18th at 5:30PM. We will also host a Grant Writing and Technical Assistance Drop-In Clinic on Friday, February 26th from 5:00-8:00PM. To register for either session, email outreach@sbgpartnership.org.
