We are pleased to share our progress and report on our activity during the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2020. This quarter, we were impacted by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic as Governor Hogan’s decision to close all Maryland casinos on March 15, 2020 brought our revenue stream to a temporary end.
As a result, our staff and Board have had to think strategically about how to protect our core priorities while also addressing pandemic-related needs in our communities as they arise.
To date, we have committed nearly $10.7 million to 213 projects across the District, ranging from small community grants to large capital projects. An additional $4.7 million of projects were in development for a total mobilization of approximately $15.4 million.
