Join Us: Announcing $6 Million of Major Investments in Local Parks & Recreation!

South Baltimore Gateway Partnership and Baltimore City Recreation and Parks are excited to announce $6 million of major investments in parks and recreation for South Baltimore, including Carroll Park in Pigtown, Florence Cummins Park in Westport, and Solo Gibbs Park in Sharp-Leadenhall.

We are honored to invite and share the announcement with community members and other stakeholders who have long championed these parks.

Join us for a press conference on Tuesday, July 20th at 12pm in Carroll Park by the playground (near the Southwest Baltimore Charter School) for remarks from Mayor Scott, Councilman Costello, Councilwoman Porter, and other partners about these long-awaited, community-driven projects.
