Dear Friends and Neighbors:
In this time of uncertainty, we are here for you. We are all hard at work and will continue operating despite the fact that casinos have closed. We aren’t going anywhere.
We are now shifting resources to help meet emergency requests as they arise in the district – calls for food, toiletries, etc. To simplify things, we are developing an easy online process for submitting help requests. Our goal is to deliver help where it is needed most, as quickly as possible. We will share details on how this will work in the coming days.
We also want to reassure our current grantees, and those still awaiting a decision on their grant proposals. Current grantees who have incurred expenses will be reimbursed. Grantees who need to postpone activities will not be penalized and can reschedule or change their projects. Our Board of Directors still plans to approve a new slate of new grant proposals later this month, understanding that many projects may need to start later than originally planned. We will be flexible and work with you.
This situation is changing quickly, and we are responding quickly. Now more than ever, we are committed to supporting our community in a time of need.
Please send any general non-emergency-related questions and concerns to outreach@sbgpartnership.org.
Sincerely,
Brad Rogers
Executive Director
