About this event

Splash! A Community Waterfront Experience is an opportunity for the South Baltimore community to connect with each other as well as Reimagine Middle Branch project team members. Enjoy boating, food, and more while learning about the waterfront and future opportunities for engagement!

In the case of inclement weather the event will be held on September 18th from 2-5pm. This event will follow the City of Baltimore’s COVID-19 guidelines.

In response to the Covid 19 pandemic, we are asking all registrants to please reserve tickets for each member of your household who will attend the event, in case contract tracing is necessary.

Note: If you would like to take part in boating activities (kayaking, canoeing or team rowing) please select your timeslot when registering. If you select a boating timeslot you will still have general admission access to the rest of the event. Boating tickets are limited and are first -come, first serve. If a boating event is sold out online, additional boating timeslots may be available on the day of the event.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the team boating experience, and 12 years of age or older to participate in kayaking. All ages are welcome for canoeing as long as youth are accompanied by an adult.

About the Reimagine Middle Branch Plan:

Reimagine Middle Branch is a community-driven initiative to reconnect South Baltimore to its 11+ miles of shoreline along the Patapsco River. The Plan involves designing a network of world-class parks, trails, and programs, while fostering connections and economic opportunity in adjacent neighborhoods.
