The Outreach and Communications Workshop will assist start-up or newer nonprofits in assessing current plans to communicate with the public about organizational services and identifying tools that further advertise nonprofit’s work.

During this session we will:

  • Explore existing outreach and communications strategies in the nonprofit sector.
  • Create S.M.A.R.T objectives (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely) that develops your organizations’ online voice and presence.
  • Learn how to use social media as advocacy tools, building an audience and measure effectiveness.
  • Receive various communications resources that engages your community, encourages partnership and advance organizations’ goals and missions in the short and long-term.

Each participating organization will be invited to schedule a follow-up technical consulting meeting to explore and support your organization’s outreach and communications strengths and areas of improvement.
