Many times, getting Board members, staff and community stakeholders collectively involved in nonprofit fundraising activities can be challenging.

During this workshop participants will:

  • Delve into elements of a resource development planning and fundraising policies.
  • Explore the basics of fundraising and ways to increase staff and Board members comfort promoting and fundraising for your organization.
  • Learn strategies, tools and resources that find, develop, and solicit volunteers and donors.
  • Assess organizations’ sources of income and existing fundraising efforts; identify short and long-term goals that contribute to the sustainability.

Each participating organization will be invited to schedule a follow-up technical consulting meeting to explore and support your organization’s fundraising strengths and areas of improvement.
