Acquiring and maintaining nonprofit tax-exempt status through annual and financial filings is essential for the success and continuity of charitable organizations. During this workshop participants will learn about:

• Strategies to maintain 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status
• IRS 990 forms and staying in good standing with the state of Maryland
• Ways to leverage 990 form to tell the nonprofit’s story and as a fundraising tool
