SUMMARY:Keys to Capacity: Lunchtime Roundtable - Fundraising
DESCRIPTION:South Baltimore Gateway Partnership is partnering with Business Volunteers Maryland to provide “Keys to Capacity” professional development roundtables and workshops. These free virtual or in-person gatherings provide an opportunity for SBGP grant projects to collaborate in an informal\, moderated setting centered around a changing topic related to nonprofit capacity building. \n\n\n\nGuided by a framing question\, Lunch Roundtables are informal\, moderated discussions meant to increase discussion\, collaboration\, and awareness of community grant projects and related capacity building topics. \nSeptember 2\, 2021: Fundraising (NOW virtual) \nRegister here & learn more here. \nFraming Question: How do you diversity revenue streams and effectively fundraise  given today’s environment? \nJoin us as Elise Krikau\, Maryland Food Bank’s Senior Vice President of Development (and SBGP Grantee!)\, provides examples of best practices from the field as part of our discussion. \n\n\nA Note on Health and Safety \nOur organizations understand we are all transitioning to our “next normal” at different speeds and comfort levels and we will continue to monitor opportunities for holding sessions in person as appropriate. Any scheduled in-person events will require face masks. As we monitor guidance from the CDC\, some in-person events may transition to a virtual platform. If that is the case\, we will strive to notify attendees at least one week in advance.
