SUMMARY:B’More Wild Fest & GreenScape
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the Baltimore Office of Sustainability and Baltimore City Recreation & Parks\, the National Wildlife Federation is hosting a free\, family-friendly festival along the water at Middle Branch Park.  \nThere will be music\, live animals\, a “DJ Technology & STEM” workshop\, an interactive nature walk through the park\, and lots of other environmentally-focused activities. The festival will kick off with BCRP’s $5 5K event at 8 am.  \nParticipating organizations include: National Aquarium\, Blue Water Baltimore\, Lights Out Baltimore\, Carrie Murray Nature Center\, Greater Baltimore Wilderness Coalition\, Parks & People Foundation\, and more! Complimentary boxed water will be provided by RETHINK. DESCRIPTION:Help SoBo Green plant trees with other locals on the South Baltimore Peninsula in Federal Hill South. Come plant new trees in existing empty tree pits\, prune trees and weed tree pits.  \nMeet at St. Ignatius Church (blacktop area) at 9am to sign-in and grab something quick to drink before we head out to plant trees. Coffee & snacks will be provided! \nTrees\, tools & planting expertise will be provided by TreeBaltimore and supplemented with tools rented from the ToolBank.
